Round and Round the Garden,
by Alan Ayckbourn.
Norman is middle-aged, married, full of fun and has an
active sex life. Trouble is, it's with his sister-in-law, Annie.
Having planned to spend a dirty weekend in Hastings with each other,
he turns up at her house, eager to get started - and immediately
bumps into bumbling vet Tom, who always seems to be at Annie's house,
treating her hypochondriac cat.

Quartet, by Ronald Harwood,
On a summer's day, in a home for retired musicians,
three old friends, once the brightest stars of the opera world, are
joking and reminiscing. But their tranquility is about to be
shattered by a surprise new arrival. This wicked, funny and joyous
play is about the eccentricities of age, art and the celebratory
power of the human spirit.

- 12th
& 15th
- 19th
February 2005
Memory of Water, by Shelagh Stephenson.
A witty modern look at the bond between sisters and
the people who love them, The Memory of Water is the story of three
sisters who reunite at their seaside childhood home on the eve of
their mother's funeral. Playwright Stephenson treated us to
wonderfully complex, sharply observed portrait of a family of women
as they attempt to survive this emotionally loaded time. A truly
brilliant comedy by one of Britain’s most celebrated
contemporary playwrights.
12th - 16th & 19th - 23rd April 2005
The Taming of the Shrew, by
William Shakespeare.
This comedy in five acts, produced about 1593 and
printed in the Folio of 1623 and considered one of Shakespeare's
bawdier works, described the volatile courtship between the shrewish
Katharina and the canny Petruchio; a man determined to subdue
Katharina's legendary temper and win her dowry.

June 2005
Happy as a Sandbag, by Ken Lee.
In this musical celebration by Ken Lee, produced to
coincide with the 60th anniversary of VE day, we experienced the war
from the perspective of the airmen and civilians in Britain,
including, towards the end, American servicemen and women.
